What is an affiliate?
An affiliate simply identifies a qualified prospect by asking a few easy questions.
Ask the prospect if they currently or soon will have the need to accept credit cards for goods or services.
If they currently accept credit cards you can do the following:
- Inform the prospect that as a merchant services affiliate you would like to offer them a free no obligation saving analysis of their current merchant services agreement. Ask them to fill out the pre-approval questionnaire and provide you with their last two months merchant account statements. Please black out or remove the merchant account number before faxing to us at 214 239-2841. In 75-80% of all account reviews we find that we are able to save the business money on their processing fees. We will provide the client with a detailed rate comparison of the savings gained by processing through Premier Merchant Rate, LLC.
- In the few situations where we cannot offer a savings, the client will have peace of mind knowing that their current account is the best they can expect. Once submitted for review the analysis is completed within 3 business days.
- If the prospect does not currently have a merchant account simply fill out the pre-approval questionnaire and submit to us. The normal evaluation of a new merchant account is 2-5 business days.
- If an account is successfully implemented, you as the referral affiliate will receive 40% of the profit earned by Premier Merchant Rate, LLC on a monthly basis for as long as the account is processing through Premier Merchant Rate, LLC. To maintain your affiliate status you only need to add one new account per year from the anniversary date of you becoming an affiliate. If an affiliate does not add at least one new account per year they will be considered inactive and will receive commission on referral accounts for one year only.
Higher commission amounts may be negotiated for referrals of extremely high volume accounts. Commission Payment Schedule Example: If an account begins processing credit cards in August, the statements will be received by the end of September and commission payments will be paid in October.
